Betty Lau is a London-based painter who uses colour, composition, and layering to create intricate works on paper, canvas, or other materials inspired by natural forms. Using subtly abstracted shapes, Betty’s work explores the line between real and imagined floral motifs.

Born in Hong Kong, Betty holds a BA (Administrative Management) from the University of South Australia in 2003 and a BA (Fine Art) from RMIT University in Hong Kong in 2020. In 2022, she completed her MA in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, U.K. She has shown in numerous group exhibitions, and her works are held in private collections in the U.K. and Hong Kong.
